You have got to try a Guava Mojito.
Guavas are so refreshing, delicious and unique.
Something about the flavor is reminiscent of pear, but you also get tones of strawberries and grapefruit, too.
Simply put, there is nothing like a Guava.
And when you combine it with Rum and Mint, you end up with the amazing Guava Mint Mojito!
Guava cocktails are sweet and refreshing
Guavas are primarily available in the warmer months.
But these cocktails have a complex flavor profile that actually makes them the perfect fit year round.
Even in Autumn and winter, these Guava Mint Mojitos stand out.
And since they are made with Pink Guava Juice, you can easily whip them up for every occasion.
If you make these for a gathering of family and friends, be sure to create some mocktails, too.
All you need to do is leave out the rum and you still have a delicious drink for kids and anyone who prefers not to imbibe.
After all, with a beverage this delicious, you know you want to share with everyone!
It may end up becoming one of your favorite cocktails with guava juice!
Guava Mint Mojito Rum Cocktails are easy to make
You can enjoy a guava mint mojito year round since it’s made with pink guava juice.
It’s great to make your mojito with homemade guava juice too when fresh guavas are in season.
You can make it with both standard size guavas with the pink flesh.
Or you can opt to use the mini guavas with the yellow flesh.
Making fresh guava juice
In either case, if you’re making fresh guava juice to use in your mojito, you will want to de-seed the fruit and strain the seeds prior to pouring in your glass.
You may also want to add a bit of sugar or simple syrup to taste as fresh guavas can be a bit tart.
If you are making fresh guava juice, you may need a tutorial for how to do it the first time.
This article gives you three different ways to de-seed a guava.
But with guava juice and guava nectar easily available, it is a lot simpler to make this drink as we have here.
