There’s something about sipping on a warm Mulled Apple Cider Cocktail on a cold day.

These holiday drinks of mulled cider and apple juice are great to warm your insides after a tough day shopping at the mall, coming in from the first fall of snow, or just sitting around the house relaxing.

Over the years cider has been consumed as a main beverage, in households across the US, consuming 2 gallons per person each year.

We see this drink on tables in the form of apple juice and we hear the popping of corks during a celebration with a sparkling cider cocktail.

Apple juices are generally made from pressing juice apples in comparison to cider apples.

The apple and cider juice colors range from a light hue of gold to a deeper amber color with its flavor just as intense as the colors.

Mulling refers to the heating or cooking of the liquids used in making this beverage and cocktail.

If you look across the globe, we see several versions of hot cider drinks from many countries and cultures to family favorites.

Some of the favorite recipes in our house use apple juice, which is a nonalcoholic recipe that makes a delicious and warming drink that should be enjoyed during our Christmas holiday season.
