Ingredients you need to make Orange Rosemary Roasted Cornish Hens

Before you get started, you will want to gather these ingredients:

  • Cornish hens, defrosted
  • Large navel oranges
  • Rosemary sprigs
  • Salt
  • Ground Pepper
  • Soy Sauce

How to cook Cornish Hens

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Slice one orange into rounds and place in the bottom of the baking dish.
  • Place two sprigs of rosemary on bottom.
Prepare your roasting dish to make Orange Rosemary Cornish Hens
  • On top of the oranges and rosemary place the Cornish hens.

  • Cut the second orange into quarters. Squeeze the juice of two of the quarters over the hens. Add salt and pepper.
  • Inside of each hen, place one of the remaining orange quarters along with a sprig of rosemary.
  • Bake for and hour and a half until juices run clear.
  • Place soy sauce on top of chicken and broil for 5 to 8 minutes on high to darken and crisp the skin.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cornish Hens defrosted
  • 2 large Navel Oranges
