Ingredients you need to make Pineapple Dole Whip Margaritas

Makes 2 to 3 Margaritas (depends on glass size)

  • 2 1/2 cups frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 cup tequila
  • 1/3 cup triple sec
  • 1 cup milk
  • Optional: lime wedges
  • Optional: Chili Margarita Salt or Tajin for rim

To make these margaritas, you will need these kitchen tools:

Adding chili pepper or Tajin to my pineapple margaritablank

If you are making a Disney copycat drink, be sure to rum a lime around the rim of your glass first, and then dip in either chili margarita salt or Tajin before pouring the drink.

Disney garnishes their pineapple dole whip margarita by coating the  glass thickly with chili salt and garnishing with a lime wedge.

Alternatively, you can also use Tajin on the glass if you don’t have chili flavored margarita salt.

How to make the Pineapple Dole Whip Margarita

Note: Using frozen pineapple helps to give the Dole Whip a thicker texture than fresh pineapple.

If you wish to add chili salt or Tajin to your glass, I like to do that before mixing the drink so I can pour the drink right away.

Start by filling your blender with the frozen pineapple, tequila and triple sec.

Blend it until you get a nice and smooth consistency.

Slowly pour in the milk while blending until you receive the texture you would like.

Once you’ve reached the desired consistency, pour it in your glass and enjoy!

What if the drink is too thin?

If you add to much liquid just add more pineapple or ice to the blender.

That will thicken the beverage.

The smooth creaminess of yummy Dole Whip can be enjoyed year round when you make these margaritas with frozen Pineapple. It’s good made with fresh pineapple too, but frozen pineapple really makes the drink nice and cold.
