If you’re in the mood for a good fruity cocktail, this Pink Panties Cocktail with Vodka and Rum has it all going on.

The cheeky name (pun intended) is actually perfect for this cocktail.

And when you taste how nicely the pink lemonade “plays” with the peach vodka, Malibu rum, and frozen strawberries, you’ll agree.

Our Pink Panties Cocktail is deliciously cheeky

A pink frozen drink topped with whipped cream next to a bottle of Malibu rum and Georgia Peach Vodka.
This drink is like a delicious flavor explosion! Pink lemonade, vanilla ice cream, Malibu Rum, and Peach flavored vodka! YES!

Mix it all up in a blender with some vanilla ice cream.

You  have a fruity milkshake that is so sweet and refreshing, you may completely forget that there is booze involved.

But do your best to remember, since these cold and tasty treats can really pack a punch!

The drink is kind of like a cross between a milkshake and smoothie, with booze!

And I call that a win.

An easy blender drink

You know what else is a win?

How easy they are to make.

I love how simple these things are to make.

All you do is pile your ingredients into a blender and let it do the work.

This frosty beverage is ready to drink in about five minutes time, making it easy to quickly blend up cocktails for your friends and family, too.

This is a wonderful drink to enjoy in the summer while sitting outside by the pool.

And the fruity flavors are also a perfect fit for breakfast buffets and holiday breakfasts, too.

The Pink Panties Cocktail with Vodka and Rum has a playful, silly name.

But this thing has some serious flavor!

Why are some drinks named for lingerie?

What a great question!

You may have seen other drinks with naughty names before.

I like to think that a lot of these drinks get their names because of how they look in the glass.

When you pour a drink into a martini glass, you may notice that the martini glass’s v-shape resembles the cut of the garment.

And of course, drinks named for lingerie are often pink or red and may have ingredients that many associate with romance.

There are quite a few drinks named for lingerie.

Another one commonly confused with the Pink Panties is a Pink Panties Dropper.

That particular drink is more of a punch.

It’s another gorgeous pink drink, but the dropper is often made in a very large batch.

Sometimes it’s served in a bucket!

It’s base is pink lemonade and beer! So that’s a fun drink too.

We like Tipsy Bartender’s Pink Panty Dropper recipe really well if you’re looking to try it – and make a lot at once.

Another drink named after lingerie is a Pink Silk Panties Cocktail.

It’s made with peach flavored liqueur, vodka and bitters.

If you like our Pink Panties cocktail, we think you’ll like this one too since they both share delicious peach vodka flavors.

You can find a nice Silk Panties Martini recipe on the Diffords guide.

Perfect to make on a hot day, this drink is kind of like a cross between a frozen daiquiri and a milk shake.

Fun Fact about the Ingredients:

We used 360 George Peach Vodka in this recipe.

Where is Georgia Peach Vodka made?

And while you may use any of your favorite or readily available peach flavored vodkas, we learned that this Georgia Peach vodka is made in Missouri!

We figured George Peach Vodka would be made in Georgia, but alas.

Ingredients to make a Pink Panties Drink Recipe with Vodka:

A blender surrounded by drink ingredients: ice cream, pink lemonade concentrate, malibu rum, and peach vodka.
You’ll need these ingredients to make the yummy blender drink, the Pink Panties cocktail.

Makes two 8 oz glasses

  • Can Frozen Pink Lemonade Concentrate
  • Peach flavored vodka, we used 360 Georgia Peach Vodka, but any peach vodka is fine
  • Malibu Rum
  • Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Frozen Strawberries
  • Crushed Ice
  • Whipped Cream, for garnish
  • Mint leaf, for garnish

You will also need a blender and a couple of beverage glasses.

You may use any glass you like.

We used stemless wine glasses.

But if you really want to stick with the drink’s theme, you may serve it in a martini glass.

Can I make the Pink Panties Cocktail without Alcohol?

Yes, you may and it will still be delicious with these easy substitutions.

You’ll need to leave out the Peach Flavored Vodka and the Malibu Rum.

Instead of the peach vodka, you may substitute either 2-3 Tbsp peach syrup or peach puree, or 1/4 cups of frozen peaches.

You don’t need both.

Just be mindful that if you use peach flavored syrup, you’ll end up with a slightly sweeter drink.

You may want to add a little, blend, taste some with a spoon and adjust.

Instead of the Malibu Rum, you can replace that with 1-2 Tbsp of Coconut Cream.

I really like using either Coco Lopez or Real’s Coconut Cream.

If you don’t use coconut cream often, I recommend using Real’s since it comes in a squirt bottle rather than a can that’s easily refrigerated in its own container once open.

How to Make a Pink Panties Drink:

The great thing about making this drink is how easy it is.

It’s a lot like making a milk shake.

First, gather your ingredients and measure them according to the recipe.

You may want to double it if you’re serving multiple people.

You’ll add all of the drink’s ingredients to the blender and blend it until smooth.

I like to blend for a little bit at a time until I get the desired consistency.

Since there’s ice in there, I like to make sure that the ice is well-crushed and blended, but we haven’t blended it so much that its no longer thick.

In process shot of ice cream, strawberries, and pink lemonade in a blender.
You’ll combine all of the ingredients in the blender and let the blender do the work mixing the drink.

Once you’re satisfied with the drink’s consistency, pour half of the drink mixture into each beverage glass.

Add a dollop of whipped cream and a mint leaf or two, and you have a delicious pink drink to enjoy!
