One of the things that makes Texas Peach Sangria stand out for summertime gatherings is that you largely make it ahead of time.

A great sangria to make ahead of time

All you have to do when it comes time to serve is pour in some ginger ale and fill up those glasses (over ice – with a nice garnish of mint).

After all, when hosting a backyard barbecue, family potluck, or pool party – time is valuable.

Who wants to be spending a lot of time making drinks when there is so much else to do?

Texas Peach Sangria is casual enough to fit in at a bonfire on the beach.

But classy enough that if your party is upscale, this pretty cocktail “cleans up real good” to look right at home.

If only ALL the guests fit in this well!

Enjoy some cold Texas Peach Sangria on a hot day

Is there anything more refreshing that some cold peach sangria?

Here’s a tip if you make the sangria right before you serve it.

Don’t thaw the peaches before adding them to the pitcher.

You can also chill your wine, the peach vodka and your peach nectar.

You can even put the peach vodka in the freezer.

This drink is delicious no matter how you serve it, but it really shines when it’s served very cold.

If you’re making it ahead of time, be sure to keep it well-chilled until it’s time to serve it.

Texas Peach Sangria is the perfect cold and fruity summertime drink to enjoy with family and friends.

Made with peach vodka and peach nectar, it’s delicious!

Ingredients you need to make Texas Peach Sangria

Makes 6-7 glasses

  • 1 bottle 750 ml chardonnay white wine
  • 1 cup peach vodka
  • 2 cans of peach nectar – Jumex
  • 1 cup ginger ale
  • 1 bag of frozen peaches
  • 1 cup diced strawberries, hull removed
  • 1/4 cup minced mint leaves

To make the sangria, you’ll need these items: a pitcher, a bar spoon and beverage glasses. You’ll also need a measuring cup.

If you will be serving your sangria outdoors, a shatterproof plastic pitcher is both gorgeous and practical.

Can I make the peach sangria without alcohol?

Sure!

If I need to make a non-alcoholic sangria, I like to start with sparkling grape juice.

Then omit the peach flavored vodka.

You will want to make up for the loss of volume from the vodka you leave out.

To do so, you can add a bit more ginger ale, peach nectar and of course the sparkling grape juice.

Can I make the sangria with wine and whiskey instead?

Why not?

If you prefer whiskey to vodka, go right ahead.

Mix it up with your favorite whiskey, bourbon or brandy.

And if you enjoy a flavored whisky, we like using Crown Royal Peach is an excellent alternative.

This drink makes a truly delicious Crown Royal Peach Recipe too.

And of course, peach flavored brandy fits right in with this recipe too!
