Is there anything more romantic than serving some yummy pancakes for breakfast in bed?
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and like every year it’s mostly certain that all of us will be busting our head to decide what gift we should give to that special someone this year.
What could it be more romantic than a Valentine’s Day breakfast in bed!
Celebrate with a romantic Valentine’s Day Breakfast in Bed
After all, materialist things fade away, so why not try something completely different this year.
Enjoying a sweet breakfast in bed will help your person feel good and well-loved.
And of course, we know that’s important.
Like Maya Angelou said, “people will never forget how you made them feel.”
How to serve breakfast in bed on Valentine’s Day
Before the holiday, it’s a lot of fun to get a heart shape tray or even better a plate (doesn’t matter if it will be plastic), so you can place the special breakfast once is ready.
If you want to move along the lines of heart-shaped food then you will need to supply yourselves with one regular and one small non stick heart shape bottomless pan.
You don’t have to cook anything different than what you would cook for the everyday breakfast; it’s is the presentation that matters for this unique day!
But if you want to, we’ve got some great ideas for you to try!
Your breakfast can include eggs sunny side up or scrambled eggs (prefer to scramble your eggs since that will make it much easier to give them the shape of the heart with your bottomless heart shaped pan), bacon, some hashbrowns, and pancakes.
How to Make Heart-Shaped Pancakes
If you have never made heart shaped pancakes before, it’s really easy.
You’ll need a heart-shaped cookie cutter to provide the shape.
Mix your pancakes ingredients all together and whisk well (for about 2 minutes), until you have a combined fluffy mixture.
Place a non stick frying pan on the fire and add the heart-shaped cookie cutter to the pan.
Pour the mixture in the bottomless pan and allow the pancake to puff and cook on the one side (for about half – one minute).
Once the pancake is cooked on the one side, remove cookie cutter and turn your pancake to cook on the other side as well.
Repeat the procedure to create as many pancakes you want (or your mixture allows you).
Serving Breakfast in Bed
Now that you have everything cooked, get your plate and start decorating.
If your cookie cutter is big enough, put it in the middle of the plate and gently spoon your scrambled eggs into a heart shape arrangement.
Then add the slices of bacon and surround them with the heart-shaped pancakes.
Place the plate in a tray, add a nice red rose, make yourselves a nice cup of coffee, juice, or your favorite mimosa like this cranberry mimosa or a French champagne punch and serve your loved one his or her Valentine’s breakfast .
