This delicious treat is a wonderful addition to holiday meals and Christmas parties.

Or you can simply whip up a batch for you and a friend to enjoy while watching movies.

Just add rum, Crème de Cacao, eggnog, and chocolate ice cream to your blender and blend until smooth.

Pour it and serve.

Variations on the Frosty Noggin recipe

With a treat this good, there’s simply no wrong way to enjoy it.

This drink is wonderfully flexible, too.

If you aren’t in the mood for chocolate, simply use vanilla ice cream to make the traditional Frosty Noggin.

And if you want to serve it to kids, just leave out the rum and use chocolate syrup instead of Crème de Cacao for a delicious “booze-free” treat.

No matter which version of the Chocolate Frosty Noggin you enjoy, remember to sip slowly.

Otherwise, you might get brain freeze, and an “achin’ noggin” is one holiday treat that no one wants!

Shhhh…. Don’t tell anyone, but there are some people who are already starting to age their homemade eggnog for the holidays – at the end of August! And that means it’s a great time to make a frosty noggin! It’s still hot outside, so a milkshake is great. And if you’ve got some fresh eggnog that you really just have to sample to make sure everything’s good to go, throw some in a blender and make this drink.
