A Chocolate Vampire’s Kiss Martini made with Chambord is just so romantic.
It’s perfect to serve anytime you want a little romance, but it’s also great for Halloween!
It just wouldn’t be a Halloween cocktail with a vampire reference, right?
This Vampire’s Kiss cocktail is a super simple drink recipe that not only tastes great but has added chocolate syrup in it as well!
Alcohol and chocolate combined?
Yes, please!
Chocolate Vampire’s Kiss Martini
I really love the bright coloring of this Chambord Gin cocktail.
The red and the chocolate swirls really make for quite the fun look.
And I’m not going to lie…my favorite “character” for Halloween just so happens to be a vampire so this drink is just right up my alley!
It’s one of my favorite slow sippers that I enjoy every single time Halloween rolls around.
Don’t let the name throw you for a loop.
We all know that a vampire’s kiss is sneaky, right?
Same as this drink!
It’s a tasty treat but drink slowly as it’ll sneak up on you fast!
This simple Chambord recipe is perfect for adult Halloween fun.
While the kids are trick-or-treating, you can be sitting on your porch having your own adult treat.
You can make one of these fun chocolate raspberry martinis for yourself and the adults and a mocktail version of our Vampire Bite cocktail for the kids too if you want to keep it on theme.
And of course, you don’t have to only serve the drink for Halloween.
Anytime you mix chocolate and raspberries together, it’s a great drink.
Add a few fresh raspberries on a cocktail pick and it’s perfect to serve anytime.
But it’s kind of romantic, so why not make one for Valentine’s Day too?
Does this chocolate raspberry martini have a sweet taste?
It does.
It’s a sweeter martini that would be great for an after-dinner treat.
After all, it’s a raspberry liqueur cocktail with chocolate and gin.
Since it has the chocolate syrup added in, you know that it’s going to have a nice, mellow chocolate flavoring as well.
Treat this martini as a dessert recipe and see how versatile a drink that it can be!
You’ll see why this is one of my favorite Chambord cocktail recipes.

Ingredients to this Vampire’s Kiss Martini
- Gin
- Rosato vermouth – we used Martini Rosato
- Chambord or other raspberry liqueur
- Chocolate syrup – for drizzling in the glass
To make the drink, you will need: a small plate, a martini glass, a cocktail shaker, a cocktail strainer, and a bar spoon.
Can I make the drink without alcohol?
Sure! It will be a little different, but if you’d like to enjoy a vampire’s kiss mocktail, you can do it.
You’ll still prepare the glass as you would with the chocolate syrup.
Then, omit the gin.
You can make up the gin’s volume with juice.
Or if you’d like, add a splash of club soda at the end if you’d like to serve the drink sparkling.
You’ll also omit the Chambord and replace it with raspberry juice.
If you can’t find raspberry juice, you can use a Cran Raspberry juice too.
Raspberry puree will also work, but it’s a bit thick and you may wish to thin it out a bit.
In place of the vermouth, you can add a dash of sparkling red grape juice.
Then mix the drink in your cocktail shaker and pour it over the chocolate drizzled glass and enjoy!
How to Make a Vampire’s Kiss Martini
First, begin by priming the glass with chocolate syrup.
Pour a little chocolate syrup on a plate.
Turn your glass upside down and then dip it into the chocolate syrup.
Then drizzle a little chocolate syrup down the insides of the glass.
A bit of chocolate will pool at the bottom of the glass.
In a cocktail shaker, add ice, gin, and Chambord.
Shake it well.
Then stir in the Rosato vermouth.
Stirring the vermouth into the drink will make the drink appear clearer so you get a nicer color.
Strain into the martini glass over the chocolate syrup. And enjoy!
