These Cherry Crumb Bars are moist, rich in flavor, and with the rolled oats in them, you might even be tempted to eat them like coffee cake for breakfast.
No one would blame you. In fact, you may find yourself looking for excuses to eat them throughout the day.
Enjoy some yummy Cherry Crumb Bars with Rolled Oats
One of my favorite things about this recipe is how versatile it is.
If you aren’t a fan of cherries, you don’t have to make Cherry Crumb Bars.
You can pick a different pie filling and make Apple or Blueberry Crumb Bars instead.
And no matter which kind you make, this recipe is super easy.
Also – and this is important: Although the instructions say to allow these Cherry Crumb Bars to cool completely before cutting, I have to admit that they are pretty spectacular when still warm from the oven.
They don’t retain their bar shape very easily that way.
But some warm Cherry Crumb Bars in a bowl with a little vanilla ice cream on the side is the perfect, easy to make dessert.
Now you want some, don’t you?
And if you love this delicious cherry dessert, make certain that you check out these Apple Cookie Cups as well.
Baking with fruit is just too simple and easy to pass up!

This recipe is so simple to make with ingredients most home bakers have at home.
And while we’ve made it with some yummy cherry pie filling, you can substitute any fruit flavor that you like instead.
It’s great to serve year-round for breakfast or dessert.
I like to have these in the morning with coffee or as the ending to truly delicious meal.
Is there ever a wrong time to eat these crumb bars?
I think not!
