I love to top my iced latte with plenty of frothed milk, cinnamon, and drizzle of caramel.

Sipping on a homemade iced latte is a great pick me up.

Perfect iced latte recipe for Christmas morning too!

This tasty delight is a lovely way to start your morning, especially if you are looking for a burst of energy for a day filled with holiday activities.

Prepare enough for all adults present for Christmas breakfast.

(Heaven knows, the kids don’t need any extra energy!)

Or offer it to guests in the evening to keep the fun times going a little longer.

And it certainly doesn’t have to be Christmas for you to enjoy this scrumptious Cinnamon Vanilla Iced Latte.

This beverage brings to mind cinnamon toast for breakfast as a kid, or the smell of Cinnabon at the shopping mall.

Just enjoy munching on a fresh biscotti to enjoy some of that yummy Cinnamon Toast Crunch type flavor.

If you can’t resist a tasty sweet treat in your cup, this might just become your new favorite way of enjoying your coffee all year long!

DIY coffee shop quality drinks at home

One of the things that I really love about being able to make a delicious flavored latte like this at home is how much money it saves me.

Sure, that does mean that I’m not enjoying the social aspect of going to a coffee shop to meet a friend or two.

But it really saves me a lot of money.

And sometimes, I really crave that flavor when I’m not ready to be out in the world.

You know the kind of morning where you’re feeling a little frazzled and you just need an escape and some me time, even if it’s brief?

That’s what I love about this drink.

I can whip up a delicious drink and enjoy it on the back deck in my pajamas and bath robe and have some blissful time all to myself before going back to my crazy life.

Update: Since our Shelter in Place orders have come in effect in March 2020, recipes like this have been a life saver.

It’s been so good for my mental health to be able to have a treat and the accompanying me time that comes along with it.

I hope you’ve also been able to find a little outlet here and there that’s just for yourself.

How to make a cinnamon vanilla iced latte

It is so easy to learn how to make an iced latte at home.

Start out by brewing two shots of espresso.

Add ice to your cup and give it a pump of vanilla syrup.

Pour in the fresh-brewed espresso.

Give the espresso a gentle stir to blend it with the vanilla simple syrup.

Steam your milk, and if you like it frothy, give it a hit with your frother.

Then pour the milk over the coffee and drizzle it with some caramel if you like.

Give your iced coffe a gentle dusting of cinnamon powder, and it’s ready!

Sit back and relax for some sipping and me time.

Can I spike my vanilla cinnamon latte?

Why not! Who says you can’t spike your iced latte recipe?

If you want to add a shot of something, we like to add a shot of whiskey or rum to this drink.

In fact, using a flavored whiskey, like Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey, just kind of says, heck yeah.

And of course, spiced rum works great too!

You can also use a vanilla flavored vodka as well!

I like to pour the frothed milk slowly over the top of the drink. It makes for a nice layer on top of the coffee.
