this Supernatural-Inspired Yellow Eyed Demon Cocktail is a fine spirit to enjoy for Halloween or anytime you’re re-watching the show.
Supernatural fans know all about the Yellow Eyed Demon – who turned out to be none other than Azazel, one of the Princes of Hell.
And while we would certainly never wish to invoke him, there’s nothing wrong with having a tasty, fun drink that kinda reminds one of him.
Serve the Supernatural Inspired Yellow Eyed Demon Cocktail
Made with Lemonade, Pineapple Juice, and Whiskey, this beverage is quite tasty, too.
In fact, there is a definite vibe of summertime going on with the flavor profile.
Which may seem strange when you take that first sip at Halloween.
However, it really fits better than you think.
After all – the sun is a big ball of fire.
Kind of like hell.
Where Azazel and his other buddies rule.
Therefore . . . I’m sure you can see where I’m going with this.
A creepy eyeball cocktail made with frozen grapes
Plus, there are frozen green grapes layered throughout the Yellow Eyed Demon Cocktail.
Frozen grapes that look a lot like creepy eyeballs floating around in your drink.
It’s a shiver factor that effectively removes this beverage from the list of “Refreshing Summer Drinks”.
So, Azazel may not be a guy we’d like to raise a toast to, but still – his Yellow Eyed Demon Cocktail is the stuff that Halloween dreams are made of!
And of course, if you’re here because you’re a Supernatural fan, I’m really glad you’re here.
I’m so sad to see the show go soon, and we didn’t want it to end!
It feels like the Winchesters are family after all this time.
Ingredients you need to make a Yellow Eyed Demon Cocktail
Makes 1 drink
- 2 oz Pineapple Juice
- 4 oz Lemonade
- 1 oz Whiskey
- A handful of green grapes, frozen
Tools:
I really like using a clear cocktail shaker for drinks like this that you want to shake until they are really nice and frothy.
It’s helpful to see if you need to continue shaking the drink or if it’s ready to pour.
The one we’re using is from Shaker 33.
I also like it because the top seals securely so there’s less risk of a mess, it’s BPA-free, and it can go in the dishwasher.
But of course, you may use what shaker you have on hand too.
How to make a Yellow Eyed Demon Cocktail
Begin by layering crushed ice and frozen green grapes in your cocktail glass.
You want to alternate layers so that the grapes will look like eyes floating in the glass once you pour it.
The ice will support the different positions for the grapes.
In a cocktail shaker, add ice and your pineapple juice, lemonade, and whiskey.
Shake well.
Strain the drink into your cocktail glass over the ice and grapes.
Add more grapes if you would like.
And enjoy!

Hi, I’m Jennifer. I love to cook and entertain. I have a lot of fun sharing traditional food and drink recipes as well as putting a new spin on the classics. I strive to provide easy to make recipes that are perfect for the home cook, bartender and entertainer.
Freezing the grapes is really helpful for this recipe for a couple of reasons. The first is practical – it helps to keep the drink cold. But the other reason is that a frozen grape’s texture as it thaws goes from hard to firm in a nice, spooky kind of way. Perfect for demon eyes!
