Calling all pumpkin spice lovers! The time is now to make up this delicious Pumpkin Spice Martini!
Not only does every sip have that tasty pumpkin flavor but it’s literally one of the best ways to get pumped up and excited for the fall.
Can you imagine sitting out in front on your porch feeling that cool fall breeze with this slow sipper?
Enjoy a Pumpkin Spice Martini
And since this tasty martini literally takes just a few simple ingredients to make, I have a feeling that this is one drink recipe that you’re going to want to repeat over and over again.
Give your tummy a little warmth with this delicious fall drink!
I’m one of those pumpkin spice fanatics.
I could literally have everything in my house flavored like pumpkin and still want more. I don’t care if people call me basic. LOL
And now that I’ve found a simple way to make my martinis this way, the upcoming autumn weather is looking a whole lot more appealing!
Since martinis are meant to be enjoyed slowly, I’ve got big plans of putting up my feet, snuggling in my hoody, and dreaming about the days of fall lasting forever.
I’m also thinking that this drink will carry on into trick or treating season as well so that I can have an adult treat while I’m handing out the candy treats to the kids, from a distance, of course.
Have fun making this pumpkin spice martini. I really think it’s going to take your pumpkin spice love to a whole other level. I know that it did for me!
Does the added pumpkin puree make this drink thicker?
It actually doesn’t. Just make certain that it’s stirred in pretty well and it pretty much dissolves right into the drink.
BUT, if you’re wanting to have some extra thickness in your martini and give it some legs, you can stir less and see what you think.
It’s pretty much your drink to dress up or dress down any way that you please!
Ingredients to make a Pumpkin Spice Martini
- Pumpkin Spice flavored vodka
- Apple cider
- Peach juice
- Pumpkin puree
- Vanilla
- Pumpkin spice
- Black sanding sugar – optional
- Lime wedge – optional
To make the drink, you will need: measuring cup or jigger, a cocktail shaker, a mixing glass, a bar spoon, a cocktail strainer, and a martini glass.
If you’re adding sugar to the glass, you’ll also need a small plate or bowl for the sanding sugar as well as a cutting board and knife for the lime.
Can I serve the drink in a large batch?
If you plan to serve the drink with multiple servings, we like to make a batch of pumpkin juice ahead of time using our Pumpkin Juice recipe that serves 6 and can be easily multiplied.
To serve with the pumpkin juice, just multiply the recipe, you will pour 2 oz of vodka per glass and top with pumpkin juice.
Can I serve the drink without alcohol?
Yes, you can. In fact, the easiest thing to do if you want to serve pumpkin spice martini mocktails is to simply make a pitcher of our pumpkin juice recipe.
That way, you can serve the kids and those not drinking alcohol the pumpkin juice, and you can easily spike the glasses for those who want to imbibe.
How to Make a Pumpkin Spice Martini
If you would like to serve the drink spooky style for Halloween, begin by sugaring the glass. This is entirely optional.
To sugar the glass, pour some black sanding sugar on a plate. Run a quartered lime wedge along the edge of the glass to moisten it. Turn the glass upside down and dip the glass in the sanding sugar.
Set the glass aside while making the drink.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. I like to fill the shaker at least halfway full so that the mixture gets nice and cold.
Then measure and pour the vodka, apple cider, peach juice, and vanilla over ice and shake it thoroughly. You want to shake it for at least 15 seconds.
If you like it to be a bit foamy, you can shake it for about 25 seconds.
In a mixing glass, add the pumpkin puree. Pour the mixture over the puree and stir it until the puree has thoroughly mixed with the liquid mixture.
Pour into your martini glass and enjoy!
Note: You may strain the drink if you like.
