Enjoy some delicious Pumpkin White Hot Cocoa made in the slow cooker
The whole time this delicious concoction is simmering in your slow cooker, it fills your house with the most tantalizing smells. It’s better than one of those pumpkin spice candles.
When your family has the chance to taste this sweet and creamy beverage, they will have that slow cooker empty in no time at all. And you know what that means. It’s time to make some more.
If you love warm beverages but get tired of coffee, tea, or hot cocoa, this Slow Cooker Pumpkin White Hot Chocolate is the drink you’ve been looking for. It’s so wonderful, you might want to just keep a batch on hand throughout the Autumn and Winter. Guess it’s time to purchase another slow cooker!
Ingredients you need to make Pumpkin White Hot Chocolate
- 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk

- 1 tbsp. pumpkin pie spice

Can you serve pumpkin white chocolate hot cocoa with alcohol?
Sure! If you want to spike the drink, we recommend doing so when you are serving. Pour the alcohol of your choice (we like bourbon or spiced rum with this one) into your mug and then top off the mug with the beverage mixture.
Since crock pots can heat to different temperatures, we prefer not to pour the bourbon or rum into the crock itself so it doesn’t cause the alcohol to evaporate, unless you’re just doing it for flavor. In that case, you may prefer to use an extract instead.
Pouring the shot into your mug preserves the booze.
How to make Pumpkin White Hot Chocolate
Put your slow cooker in a safe and comfortable position to be able to cook for three hours.
If you use a crock pot liner, line the crock to make clean up easy.
Combine all of your ingredients in the pot and set the slow cooker to LOW. Set a timer for three hours.
If you’re spiking the drink, pour a shot into each mug being spiked.
Then ladle each serving into a mug.
Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon.
Note: to get a nice even sprinkle of cinnamon, I like to put a pinch of cinnamon into a fine mesh strainer. Then I can tap the strainer against the palm of my hand over the drink. It makes a nice, even dusting and avoids clumps.
