I think that the 89 calorie Sparkling Paloma looks like the perfect Springtime Drink.
The flavors are bright and sunny citrus flavors like grapefruit and lime, making this a wonderful summertime cocktail, too.
But whenever I see this drink, I think of the lovely pastel colors of Spring.
This drink just looks like a pretty flower.
A Skinny Sparkling Paloma is perfect for spring and summer
It’s so simple to make, too.
Simply pour your ingredients into a cocktail shaker with some ice and shake it up.
Strain into a class with some ice and add a splash of Sparkling Ice Pink Grapefruit to give it some zing.
And if you’re avoiding alcohol, simply leave out the tequila and add more grapefruit juice or Sparkling Ice.
That makes for a flavorful mocktail perfect for almost any occasion.
A recipe with tequila and grapefruit juice is perfect for brunch
The Sparkling Paloma is one of those cocktails that can brighten up any occasion.
I think this would also make a great cocktail for Mother’s Day brunch alongside some nice Mimosas.
After all – flowers on Mother’s Day is kind of a tradition.
And this tasty flower has a nice kick!

I love my Le Creuset citrus juicer.
It’s nice and sturdy so that I can get a good amount of juice from the fruit.
And it’s easy to pour with as well.
Make it a Mocktail instead
It’s really easy to make this cocktail without alcohol.
To enjoy a non-alcoholic version of the sparkling paloma, simply omit the tequila and use a bit more Sparkling Ice Pink Grapefruit or grapefruit juice.
How to make the Sparkling Paloma
Combine tequila, fresh grapefruit juice, fresh lime juice, and agave nectar into a cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake well and strain into a glass over ice.
Add a splash of Sparkling Ice Pink Grapefruit.
Garnish with grapefruit peel and serve.
Can I serve this drink in a big batch?
You sure can!
In fact, it makes a fantastic pitcher drink.
What I like to do is multiply the quantities by how many servings I anticipate needing.
And then get the right size pitcher or beverage dispenser.
Then I mix everything up.
If I’m serving it right away, I go ahead and mix in the grapefruit flavored Sparkling Ice.
If it’s going to be a while before I pour the drinks, I like to wait to add the Sparkling Ice until right before serving.
This way the fizz will be nice and fresh.
